Aylen Zyanya

Aylen Zayanya, a Shoanti Cleric/Warlock/Eldritch Disciple from Rise of the Runelords D&D game. Been a while since I drew this, but I didn't shade it until now.

This is a continuation of the line of illustrations including Evangeline Covenant and Daisy Moonblossom (who is actually kind of who Aylen replaced, as Daisy was the previous cleric). The symbols on her clothing and armor include a stylized symbol of Calistria (three daggers, hilts inward-- it actually ended up looking sort of like the Venus symbol, which seems very appropriate for Calistria, as she a goddess that is most certainly empowering to women) and the Thassilonian symbols for Lust and Pride, the two "sins" that Aylen considers to be virtues (Calistria being a goddess of Lust, this makes sense).

In addition to these three main symbols, other non-sin related Thassilonian runes are peppered over her clothing as decoration, as Aylen is a Thassilonian scholar. This was her reason for joining the party, in fact, as she was not with them from the beginning of the game.
